Madison, WI – Nov. 16, 2023 – UW Credit Union has been named a 2023 Green Master by the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council.

The announcement was made on Nov. 16 at the WSBC’s annual conference in Madison.

This recognition highlights our comprehensive efforts to effectively manage sustainability issues and lead the transformation to a more sustainable society.

As part of its application, UWCU completed an extensive survey focused on its business priorities in energy management; employee experience; employee health and safety; diversity, equity and inclusion; community impact; customer welfare; and governance and leadership.

“This designation reflects how our entire organization is working together to positively impact our communities,” said Chief People Officer Pam Peterson. “Being a Green Master is both an honor and a reminder that we must never lose focus on the sustainable practices that define our future.”
