This spring, 21 nonprofit organizations in the greater Milwaukee and Madison areas received UW Credit Union grants totaling more than $250,000. These discretionary funds, provided in gifts ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, expand the credit union’s mission of improving financial wellbeing and economic mobility.

In addition to financial support, UW Credit Union works closely with recipients to identify relevant financial education and volunteerism opportunities. By forging deeper relationships with these nonprofits, including UW Credit Union Fund for Racial Equity partners, we obtain a more informed understanding of unmet needs. Removing barriers for communities of color remains a top funding priority.
